She had written her initial poems at age seven. She released her initial poetic functions in Severny Vestnik (The North Messenger), a significant Russian literary mag. She resided in exile from the 1920s, because of the politics turbulence in her indigenous Russia. Her hubby of fifty-two years was the philosopher Dmitriy Merezhkovsky. She was a modern of Alexander Blok.
