Zdeno Chara


Slovak defender who, at 6’9″, became the tallest participant to ever play in the NHL. He earned the Norris Trophy for the league’s best defender in ’09 2009 and helped the Boston Bruins earn a Stanley Glass Tournament in 2011. He performed in the American Hockey Group and Traditional western Hockey League prior to making his NHL debut with the brand new York Islanders in 1997. He was chosen for his initial NHL All-Star video game in 2003 and, in 2012, he was called captain of 1 from the All-Star groups. He wedded Tatiana Biskupicova in 2007. The few had a little girl named Elliz in ’09 2009 and twin children in 2016. He distributed a Stanley Glass success in 2011 with Playoff MVP Tim Thomas.
