Zal Batmanglij

French-born screenwriter who’s best identified for his two biggest movies: 2011’s Sound of my Tone of voice, and 2013’s The East. He researched Anthropology at Georgetown College or university. He earned the Georgetown Film Event by creating a brief film while still in university. His sibling Rostam Batmanglij can be an associate of music group, Vampire Weekend. He and celebrity Eileen Brennan both researched at Georgetown College or university.
