Zainul Abedin

Biography

The founding dad of Bangladeshi art. He increased to fame through the 1940s. His countrymen lauded him as an excellent Teacher from the Arts. He analyzed in the Calcutta Authorities Art School through the 1930s. His 1st taste of acknowledgement arrived in 1944 when his “Famine Series” of paintings garnered acclaim. He founded Bangladesh’s Folk Artwork Museum at Sonargaon in 1975. He grew up around the banks from the Brahmaputra river in Kirshoreganj, East Bengal, a topic for most of his paintings. He and poet Ahmed Couch both made main contributions towards the cultural and creative existence of Bangladesh.
