Zadie Smith

Fiction writer, teacher, and essayist whose debut book, PEARLY WHITE TEETH, was named by Period magazine among the best 100 English-language fiction functions. She has been featured like a literary critic in Harper’s Publication. She was created in London for an British dad and a Jamaican mom, and she analyzed British books at King’s University, Cambridge University or college. She released her first book in 2000. She became a tenured teacher in the Innovative Writing System at NY University this year 2010. She and her novelist and poet spouse, Nick Laird, became parents to kids called Harvey and Katherine. Smith devoted her third book, On Beauty (2005), to her spouse. She and fellow novelist, Helen Dunmore, had been both recipients from the Orange Reward for Fiction.
