Youssou N’dour

Once called Senegal’s most well-known living singer simply by Rolling Stone newspaper, he developed the mbalax design of music and in 2012, he was named Senegal’s Minister of Travel and leisure and Lifestyle. He became a member of the Star Music group at a age group and founded the ensemble √Čtoile de Dakar in 1979, which continued to become an exceptionally popular act through the entire African continent. He was profiled in the movies Go back to Goree, that was directed by Pierre-Yves Borgeaud and Youssou N’Dour: I Bring What I REALLY LIKE, that was directed by Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi. He was the kid of the Wolof mom and a Serer dad. He was highlighted in the critically acclaimed film Amazing Sophistication in 2006, which chronicled William Wilberforce’s fight slavery inside the British Empire.
