Yiannis Kouros

Ultramarathon runner who also broke every men’s outdoor street globe record from 100 to at least one 1,000 kilometers and every 12-hours to 6-times road and background. He gained acknowledgement after earning the 1984 Spartathlon as well as the 1985 Sydney to Melbourne Ultramarathon, breaking information in both instances. He was nicknamed the “Operating God” and “Pheidippides Successor”; he later on performed Pheidippides in “THE STORYPLOT from the Marathon: A Hero’s Trip” from 1991. His parents had been surviving in Tripoli when he was created. He and fellow Greek athlete Dinos Kouis had been contemporaries.
