Yasmani Grandal


Cuban-American catcher who manufactured his MLB debut using the NORTH PARK Padres in 2012, after that was traded towards the LA Dodgers before the 2015 season. He was originally drafted from the Boston Crimson Sox in the 27th circular from the 2007 MLB Draft but thought we would attend the College or university of Miami rather than sign using the group. After a stellar profession at Miami, he was chosen 12th overall from the Cincinnati Reds in the 2010 MLB Draft. He became an American resident during his junior yr at Miami Springs SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL. He was created in Havana, Cuba to Maria Gomez and Elieser Grandal. He is at a five-player offer that delivered Matt Kemp from LA to NORTH PARK in Dec 2014.
