Yael Yuzon

Well-known for his lead vocals and guitar riffs for the Filipino band Sponge Cola, he documented several popular albums using the group, including Palabas (2004); Araw Oras Tagpuan (2011); and Ultrablessed (2014). During his senior high school years, he fronted a music group called Light Chapel. While increasing to prominence for his use Sponge Cola, he gained a qualification in English Books from Ateneo de Manila University or college. His solitary “Tambay”, co-written along with his bandmate Gosh Dilay, received a Gemstone Record Award. In early 2014, he wedded the Filipina vocalist and celebrity Karylle (Ana Karylle Padilla Tatlonghari-Yuzon). The child of Elsa and Johnny Yuzon, he was raised in Manila, Philippines, having a sister called Ysabel and a musician sibling called Yan. His cover from the Madonna monitor “Crazy for you personally” became an internet hit.
