Woody Shaw

Known as among the “last innovators” in jazz and one of the biggest jazz composers and bandleaders from the twentieth century. He began learning trumpet at age eleven and continued to wait Juilliard College of Music. He was created with photographic memory space and ideal pitch. He elevated a son called Woody Louis Armstrong Shaw III before his untimely demise. His trumpet playing was seriously influenced from the harmonic improvements of saxophonist John Coltrane.
