Wilson Pickett

1960s soul superstar who recorded “In the Midnight Hour” and “Funky Broadway.” He was a Stone Hall of Popularity inductee in 1991. He was beaten frequently by his mom, who he ultimately left to be able to live along with his dad. He became a member of The Violinaires in 1955. He helped to build up soul music in the us with his tracks “Land of just one 1,000 Dances” and “Mustang Sally.” He was created the 4th of eleven kids. He wrote tracks that were documented by musician Jimmy Web page of Led Zeppelin.
