An award-winning Guyanese writer known for his abstract and metaphorical design, he published such serial literary functions as The Carnival Trilogy as well as the Guyana Quartet. His stand-alone books include Palace from the Peacock, Jonestown, as well as the Dark Jester. He became a federal government surveyor after their studies at Queen’s University in Georgetown, Guyana. His literary functions investigate the energy of vocabulary to both enslave and liberate. He previously one son along with his wife Margaret. He was knighted in June 2010 during Queen Elizabeth II’s special birthday.
