An acclaimed American poet, he’s most widely known for his autobiographical function, The Dust Which Is God (1945), which received the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry. His additional works consist of Starry Funnel (1933) as well as the Stairway of Shock (1947). He analyzed at Yale University’s Sheffield Scientific College. In 1924, he founded The Saturday Overview of Books, a publication that he edited for the others of his existence. He released The Reader’s Encyclopedia, a research guide to globe literature. His child, Wayne Walker Benet, also published several well-known books. He was wedded four instances. Two of his wives, Elinor Wylie and Marjorie Flack, had been also poets.
