Japanese cartoonist known for his well-known Ginga (Metallic Fang) manga series. He received the 1987 Shogakukan Manga Honor. Early in his existence, he analyzed under French Barbizon college painter Jean-François Millet. His 1857 child years family portrait of his child was displayed in the Boston Museum of Good Arts. His politician dad originated from a Vermont landowning family members, and his mom was an associate of a rich Connecticut clan. He colored a family portrait of Supreme Courtroom Justice Horace Grey.
