William Keepers Maxwell Jr.

An American author of both fiction and non-fiction, he’s particularly known for his National Book Award-winning novel, SUCH A LONG TIME, See You Tomorrow, that was posted in 1980. His additional works are the Folded Leaf, The Chateau, and a brief tale collection entitled Over from the River. He researched at the College or university of Illinois and gained a master’s level from Harvard College or university. He later worked well as an editor of THE BRAND NEW Yorker. His 1946 children’s publication, The Heavenly Tenants, was a finalist for the Newbery Medal. When he was a decade old, he viewed his mother perish due to the 1918 flu epidemic.
