William Inge

A twentieth-century American dramatist and novelist, he’s most widely known for his play, Picnic, which premiered in the Music Package Theatre and served because the Broadway debut of renowned acting professional, Paul Newman. Inge’s additional popular plays are the Dark near the top of the Stairways and Bus Quit. He graduated from your University or college of Kansas having a Bachelor of Arts level in Conversation and Theatre. He started his career like a theatre critic for the St. Louis Star-Times. His play, Picnic, received the Pulitzer Reward for Theatre. He grew up in Self-reliance, Kansas. At age sixty, he dedicated suicide. He was motivated by Tennessee Williams to create his 1st play.
