William Baumol

Prominent economist and NYU professor who became a Fellow from the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 1971. He went to the faculty of the town of NY as well as the London College of Economics. He created the financial theory of contestable marketplaces. He wedded and acquired two kids. He and classics teacher, Erich Segal, had been both connected with Princeton University.
