William Allen White

American newspaper editor and leader from the Progressive movement who was simply a spokesman for middle America through the start of the 20th century. He received a 1923 Pulitzer Reward for his editorial “For an Anxious Friend,” about the fantastic Railroad Hit of 1922. In 1892 he began just work at The Kansas Town Celebrity as an editorial article writer. He helped type the Kansas Republican Little league in 1912 to oppose railroads and he was a reporter in the Versailles Meeting in 1919. He previously two children along with his wife Sallie Lindsay, who he wedded in 1893. He helped Theodore Roosevelt type the Intensifying Bull-Moose Party in 1912.
