Wilbur Smith

African-born author whose work concerns the discovery and colonization of African territories. His functions are the Ballantyne, Courtney, and Egyptian series. He graduated from Rhodes College or university in South Africa in 1954. He proved helpful as an accountant before submitting his initial novel, When the Lion Feeds, in 1964. He spent some of his years as a child focusing on a cattle ranch in his indigenous North Rhodesia (modern-day Zambia). He was wedded and divorced double and got three kids before he wed his third wife, Danielle Thomas, in 1971. He devoted most of his books to her until her loss of life in 1999. His book, The Gemstone Hunters, was modified right into a film starring Alyssa Milano.
