Biography

R&B vocalist and composer who have released multiple albums while half from the duo Wendy & Lisa. They made up music for the 1st time of year of ‘Heroes’ and done ‘Contact,’ starring Kiefer Sutherland. She produced her performing debut as an associate of The Trend in 1980. Her theme towards the Showtime series “Nurse Jackie” gained her a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Unique Main Title this year 2010. Her dad was past due jazz pianist and previous NARAS chief executive Mike Melvoin. Her sibling Jonathan was the touring keyboardist for the Smashing Pumpkins, while her twin sister Susannah was a vocalist and composer. She came into a romantic relationship with Lisa Cholodenko after a break up with longtime partner and collaborator Lisa Coleman. She performed with Prince in The Trend from 1980 until 1985.
