Wendy Kopp


This Texas-born entrepreneur became well-known for founding and heading the Teach For America program and its own international equivalent, Teach FOR THOSE. Her several honors are the 2003 Clinton Middle Award for Leadership and Country wide Service as well as the 2004 John F. Kennedy New Frontier Honor. After graduating from senior high school in Dallas, Tx, she gained a bachelor’s level from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson College of General public and International Affairs. She organized her programs for Teach For America in her older thesis. She penned two books about Teach For America: 1 DAY, All Kids and AN OPPORTUNITY TO Make Background. Her relationship to Knowledge Is definitely Power Program chief executive Richard Barth led to four kids. She and fellow Princeton graduate Jeff Bezos, created just 3 years aside, both became effective business owners (Bezos founded Amazon.com).
