Painter and poet known for “Moonlit Surroundings” from 1809 and various other functions. He pioneered the American Intimate landscape-painting motion. He researched at Harvard before participating in London’s Royal Academy. He resided in the Boston, Massachusetts region for pretty much three years; the city’s Allston community was called after him. He was wedded to Ann Channing from 1809 until her loss of life in 1815. He coated an 1814 family portrait of his friend, the renowned writer Samuel Taylor Coleridge .
