Wangari Muta Maathai

Kenyan environmentalist and women’s legal rights activist who was simply the initial African woman to get the Nobel Peacefulness Prize. She offered as helper minister for Environment and Organic Reference from 2003 to 2005. She majored in biology at Support St. Scholastica University in Kansas, where she received a scholarship or grant. She earned the Nobel Peacefulness Award in 2004 “on her behalf contribution to lasting advancement, democracy and peacefulness.” She wedded Mwangi Mathai in 1969. She fulfilled with after that Senator Barack Obama when he stopped at Kenya, the house of his dad.
