Walter Briggs Jr.

MLB sports professional who owned the Detroit Tigers for five months after his dad died. He graduated from Georgetown University or college. He worked well for the Michigan Central Railroad Organization. He wished to continue possession from the Tigers and Briggs Stadium, but a consortium of 11 got it after family-estate administrators place both on the market in 1956. His dad Walter Briggs Sr. also co-founded the Detroit Zoo. He presided on the Tigers during Al Kaline’s period with the group.
