Walter Battiss

South African musician remembered to be the creator from the famous fictional, utopian isle referred to as Fook Island. He offered as a Teacher of ARTWORK at the School of South Africa and is known as perhaps one of the most essential abstract painters of his period. He worked being a clerk in the Magistrates Courtroom in Rustenburg and afterwards studied artwork at Witwatersrand Techie University. In 1948, he gained a bronze medal in Engravings and Etchings at the ultimate art competition from the Olympic Video games. He was created into an British Methodist family around South Africa referred to as Karoo. The philosophies he espoused with Fook Isle had been embraced by superstars like celebrity Janet Suzman.
