Waldo Williams

Twentieth-century poet whose Welsh-language poems include “Pa beth yw dyn?” (“The facts to be individual?”) and “Cofio” (“Keeping in mind”). The kid of the Pembrokeshire school instructor, he graduated in the University University of Wales, Aberystwyth in 1926 and eventually worked being a instructor, himself. He was a pacifist through the Korean Battle period and was afterwards imprisoned for refusing to pay out his fees. He wedded Linda Llewellyn in 1941. Unfortunately, she died simply two years afterwards. His poetry was inspired by the task of renowned American poet Walt Whitman.
