Biography
French Enlightenment article writer, historian, and philosopher who became known for his wit and his pointed sociable critique. His well-known function, Candide, satirized French nobility as well as the chapel. He researched Greek and Latin at the faculty Louis-le-Grand, but remaining school to go after a career like a article writer. He subsequently had written a satirical poem about the Duke of Orleans that led to his almost year-long imprisonment in the Bastille. His subversive French functions helped spur the American Trend. He and his four old siblings were the kids of the Parisian lawyer. He used the name Voltaire in 1718. He was extremely influenced from the functions of William Shakespeare.
