Vivian Fuchs

Explorer who all completed the initial successful crossing of Antarctica. He began being a geologist using the School of Cambridge, discovering the tropics of East Africa. The Fuchs Medal, honored by The British isles Antarctic Study, was called in his honor. His wife, Joyce Connell, followed him to East Africa. He attempt to explore the Antarctic on the joint expedition with Sir Edmund Hillary.
