Virgil Partch

Popular gag cartoonist who increased to fame through the 1940s for his contributions to Collier’s and Accurate. He attended university at the School of Az before enrolling on the Artwork Institute in LA. He’d consistently gather with various other cartoonists at Light House cafe in the picturesque seaside town, Laguna Seaside. He and his wife passed away in a vehicle accident in 1984. Along with well-known vocalist Linda Ronstadt, he examined at the School of Arizona.
