An internationally acclaimed classical pianist, Maltempo is well-known for his recordings from the Etudes of Charles Valentin Alkan, in addition to for his effectiveness using the piano repertoire of Schumann, Ravel, and Godowsky, among various other composers. Early in his profession, he trained on the International Piano Academy and earned the 2006 Premio Venezia. He and fellow pianist Andre Gallo set up a prominent music college in holland. He spent his years as a child years in Benevento, Italy. Maltempo devoted his first documenting towards the nineteenth hundred years Hungarian pianist and composer Franz Liszt.
