Victory Tischler-Blue

Several decades following serving as the bassist in the 1970s teenage band The Runaways, she directed and produced a 2004 documentary film, Edgeplay, on the subject of her amount of time in the all-female group. Performing beneath the stage name of Vicki Blue, she became a member of The Runaways in 1977 and added towards the band’s record Waitin’ for the night time. She served being a support vocalist in the 1983 Girlschool record Play Dirty. She spent her early years in Newport Seaside, California. Her The Runaways music group “family members” included Cherrie Currie, Joan Jett, and Lita Ford. An celebrity and a musician and film movie director, she performed the function of Cindy in the 1984 Rob Reiner-directed rock and roll mockumentary THAT IS Spinal Tap.
