Biography

Late schoolteacher who was simply killed while struggling to safeguard her students through the Sandy Hook college shooting of Dec 2012. On her behalf heroism, she was posthumously honored the Presidential People Medal. She gained Bachelor’s degrees ever sold and Education from Eastern Connecticut Condition University before participating in graduate college at Southern Connecticut Condition School. A playground at Longer Brook Recreation area in Stratford, Connecticut was called Victoria Soto Memorial Playground in her honor in June 2013. Her dad was a crane operator and her mom was a nurse. She and five various other Sandy Hook instructors and administrators had been honored the Presidential People Medal by Leader Barack Obama.
