Vic Wertz

Four-time MLB All-Star who played in six groups during his 17-calendar year career. He offered in World Battle II before you begin his baseball profession in 1947. He was stricken with polio in 1955, but could continue his football career the next season. He wedded his wife Lucille, and jointly they went a Detroit-area charity golfing tournament to aid the Children Membership of Southeastern Michigan. He strike the ball that resulted in the famous capture created by Hall of Popularity middle fielder Willie Mays in the 1954 Globe Series.
