Biography

American singer-songwriter whose design was comparable to Frank Sinatra’s and who sang “I’VE But One Center” and “YOU NEED TO DO.” He previously to drop out of college and are an usher and elevator operator after his dad was hurt. 1Referenced in Brett Ratner's Money Talks (1997). After "Franklin" (Chris Tucker) sees an ad for Vic Damone on TV, he introduces himself as "Vic Damone Jr", when meeting "Tony" (Paul Sorvino) and "Connie" (Veronica Cartwright).
2He was the original choice to play singer Johnny Fontane in The Godfather (1972), but the role went to Al Martino instead.
3His sisters are Pia, Teresa, Elaine and Sandra.
4Father of son Perry (with Pier Angeli), daughters Victoria, Andrea and Daniella (with Judith Rawlins).
5He was awarded a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Recording at 1731 Vine Street in Hollywood, California.
