Two-time Pulitzer Prize being successful journalist who ran the editorial web page from the The Wall structure Road Journal from 1958 to 1971. He proved helpful at the chocolate shop that his father controlled in Raleigh before concentrating on journalism and confirming. He gained a Pulitzer Award in 1953 for Editorial Composing and a different one in 1984 for Commentary. He previously two daughters along with his wife Frances Claypoole, whom he wedded in 1937. He was once honored the Presidential Medal of Independence by Leader Ronald Reagan in 1986.
