Varvara Stepanova

Twentieth-century Russian abstract artist from the Constructivist motion. She and her fellow Constructivist performers rejected traditional artwork and only posters, photos, propaganda, and graphical design. She analyzed with painter Jean Metzinger in the Academie de La Palette in Paris, France. She designed units for a number of Moscow theatrical productions. She was created right into a Russian peasant family members but could get away her humble roots through her research in the Kazan Art College. She collaborated throughout her existence with her creative modern and friend, Alexander Rodchenko.
