First black news flash presenter for Independent Tv News flash who became probably one of the most adorned British broadcasters ever sold. He began his English press career like a BBC radio maker in 1969. He became known for hosting ITV’s Tonight with Trevor McDonald from 1999 to 2009. He offers two sons, Tim and Jack port, along with his second wife, Josephine McDonald. He was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1999.
