Dominant swimmer in every 4 strokes, she established five world records and 63 American records during her career. She started schooling when she was seven-years outdated, and inserted her initial U.S. going swimming tournament when she was 13. Her lifelong fantasy was to earn a yellow metal medal on the Olympics, which she achieved in 1984 when she earned three. She wedded fellow Olympic gold-medal swimmer Tag Stockwell, and provides five kids with him. She earned an Olympic yellow metal in the 400-meter medley relay with Nancy Hogshead, Theresa Andrews, and Mary T. Meagher.
