Tony Hillerman

An American author of detective novels with southwestern settings, he most famously penned the Leaphorn and Chee books, which follow the adventures from the Navajo Tribal Police. His most well-known titles are the Blessing Way, Folks of Darkness, and Hunting Badger. Before learning to be a novelist, he taught journalism for over two decades at the College or university of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He gained the Bronze Superstar, the Purple Center, and the Sterling silver Superstar for his program in the 103rd Infantry Department during World Battle II. He was created in Sacred Center, Oklahoma. He afterwards wedded Marie Hillerman. He and Marcia Muller both received the Secret Authors of America’s Grand Get good at Award.
