Tom Emmett

Fast left-arm bowler who played for Britain from 1877-1882, and was considered among the leading cricketers of his period. He produced his professional debut in 1866 for Yorkshire. He participated within the first-ever check match, on March 15, 1877, against Australia. He was wedded to Sophistication Emmett, and acquired six kids with her. Following 1899 loss of life of Ned Gregory, he became the oldest living check cricketer.
