Known for his hosting focus on the Australian Triple J radio train station, he also experienced a career like a stand-up comedian. He and Alex Dyson frequently co-hosted Triple J applications. Early in his profession, he was a finalist in the Course Clowns and Natural Humor contests, and he also performed during both Young Blood Humor Tour as well as the Melbourne Humor Event. A vegetarian and kitty owner, he became an pet privileges activist. He was raised in Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia, as the child of Neil and Judy Ballard. From 2009 until 2010, he was romantically associated with fellow Australian comedian Josh Thomas.
