Todd Haynes

Academy Award-nominated screenwriter and movie director of the movies DEFINATELY NOT Heaven, Velvet Goldmine, and I’m Not really There. He researched semiotics at Dark brown College or university, where he aimed his first brief film Assassins: A Film Regarding Rimbaud. His 2002 film DEFINATELY NOT Heaven, which he had written and directed, gained four Academy Award nominations, including Greatest First Screenplay. His mom Sherry made a short appearance in his film I’m Not really There. His 2007 film I’m Not really There featured a number of different actors portraying renowned singer-songwriter Bob Dylan.
