A modern American author, he’s most widely known for his well-known memoir, This Boy’s Life. He was a receiver of the 2006 Pencil/Malamud Honor. He trained at Syracuse College or university from 1980 to 1997. His 1984 novella, The Barracks Thief, earned the Pencil/Faulkner Award for Fiction. He wedded Catherine Dolores Spohn in 1975; they truly became parents to three kids. His autobiographical function, This Boy’s Existence, was converted to a film starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
