Tim Bray

Software designer and businessman who was simply among the designers of Extensible Markup Vocabulary (XML). While doing work for Google, he created both the Identification and Android versions. He studied pc research and mathematics at Ontario’s College or university of Guelph and eventually worked in the program section of Toronto’s Digital Devices Company. He co-founded OpenText Company, a prominent Canadian software program development company. Along with his wife, Lauren Timber, he operated an online consulting company known as Textuality. He and SoftKey founder Kevin O’Leary both got high-profile professions as Canadian software program developers.
