Thomas Vinterberg

Co-founded the Dogme 95 filmmaking movement and directed the films It’s ABOUT Love and Dear Wendy. His 1993 film Last Circular gained the jury and companies’ awards on the Munich International Celebration of Film Academic institutions. His Dogme 95 motion had very particular “golden guidelines,” including generally using hand-held surveillance cameras, always capturing on location, rather than developing a genre film. He previously two children along with his ex-wife, movie director Maria Walbom. He and Dancer at night movie director Lars Von Trier co-founded Dogme 95.
