Biography

Irish poet, lyricist, and singer who became well-known for his lyrics to the favorite song “THE FINAL Rose of Summer time.” He’s also known for “The Minstrel Boy” and several other functions. The son of the Dublin grocer, he analyzed legislation in London. His poems had been arranged to music by Benjamin Britten, Robert Schumann, and additional prominent composers. His content marriage with celebrity Bessy Dyke created five kids. His popular tunes had been quoted by Wayne Joyce in Dubliners.
