Served as a co-employee justice from the U.S. Supreme Courtroom from 1792 to 1793. He was accepted towards the pub in Maryland in 1753 and offered as the 1st governor of Maryland. His legacy was honored with many academic institutions becoming called after him: Governor Thomas Johnson SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in Frederick, Maryland, Governor Thomas Johnson Middle College in Frederick, Maryland, Thomas Johnson Middle College in Lanham, Maryland, and Thomas Johnson Elementary College in Baltimore, Maryland. He wedded Ann Jennings in 1766. That they had eight kids collectively. He was nominated towards the Supreme Courtroom by Chief executive George Washington.
