Thomas Crean

A polar explorer who produced four different outings to Antarctica. He became a member of the Royal Navy at age group 15, and jumped at an opportunity to sign up for an arctic expedition soon after. Using one expedition, a major accident pressured him and his associates to trek 800 kilometers across the freezing wilderness searching for help. Reportedly, a disagreement with his dad motivated him to hightail it and sign up for the Royal Navy. Roald Amundsen is usually another well-known polar explorer.
