Thom Gunn

British-American poet who’s best known for any 1992 AIDS-themed work entitled THE PERSON with Night time Sweats. He was the child of two journalists; his mom dedicated suicide when he was an adolescent. He resided a bohemian lifestyle in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA and passed away of drug abuse in 2004. He relocated to america in 1954 to become near Mike Kitay, his longtime partner. He and Adrienne High both received the Lenore Marshall Poetry Reward in the first 1990s.
