Thees Uhlmann

German singer, guitarist, and article writer. He founded an indie pop group known as Tomte and afterwards had a single music profession; his self-titled debut album topped at number 4# 4 on German music graphs. He toured in 1999 using a German rock-band called Tocotronic, documenting the experience within a released diary. He composed music content for such journals as Musikexpress, Visions, and Spex. He was raised in Decrease Saxony, Germany. A few of his first music, including one about the life span routine of salmon (“Zum Laichen und Sterben ziehen expire Lachse den Fluss hinauf”), had been motivated by his period spent viewing nature-themed television applications with his mom. He and fellow German musician Tobias Kunzel both acquired successful professions as performers and songwriters.
